How we care for your information

This page explains what personal information Lessons on Love collects when you visit our website, join a workshop, book a session, or read our emails, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Lessons on Love is the practice of Adam Guzman-Poole and Andréanne Charron, offering spiritual therapy, relationship counselling, coaching, workshops, and books. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

How we use it

The tools we rely on

We use a small number of trusted services to run Lessons on Love. Each one receives only the information it needs for its job.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make pages work (for example, remembering the session you picked at checkout) and to measure advertising through the Meta Pixel. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though some conveniences may be lost.

What we never do

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details for as long as you are on our list. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and remove your details from active mailing within 30 days. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Session notes are kept only as long as needed to support your work with us.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place with data protection law, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email adam@lessonsonlove.org and we will respond within 30 days.

Where your information lives

We work internationally, and the services we use store data in the United States and the European Union. By using our site you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those places, protected by the safeguards each provider offers.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below. Significant changes will also be announced by email to our list.
